Your studio for holistic physiotherapy
About me
My name is Maximilian Tolpeit and I am a physiotherapist specialized in sports physiotherapy.
After my bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at TH-Rosenheim, I completed my master's degree in exercise and sports physiotherapy at the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid in Spain.
During my professional career, I have gained experience in various contexts:
-
from clinical work at the rehabilitation center “Corox by Hans Friedl” (GER) and “Traumacenter Kronplatz” (IT),
-
to the international support of competitive athletes in my work for “Canada Snowboard”.
As part of my work as a freelancer, I also look after local athletes from various national and youth teams.
I work closely with strength and conditioning coaches on an interdisciplinary basis to develop customized rehabilitation and training plans.
Through the CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and other certifications, as well as the demand for continuous further education and training, I strive to treat the person in a holistic manner.

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is much more than the treatment of individual complaints - it is a holistic concept that looks at people as a whole. The focus is not only on relieving pain and restoring mobility, but also on promoting health, prevention and quality of life.
A comprehensive physiotherapeutic approach combines various specialist areas: from manual therapy to the mobilization to functional movement analyses and targeted strength and endurance training for long-term stabilization of the body. This is supplemented by neuromuscular rehabilitation methods, sensorimotor training, pain modulation techniques, preventative measures to avoid injuries and overuse as well as many other. Whether for acute sports injuries, chronic complaints, after operations or for general performance enhancement: physiotherapy creates individual solutions for every person.
Preventive training
Preventive training has a clear goal: to prevent complaints and injuries from arising in the first place. Instead of reacting to symptoms, it specifically strengthens the body's resources in order to prevent overloading, incorrect strain and signs of wear and tear in the long term.
Preventive training combines functional exercises with strength building, flexibility training, coordination, endurance and stabilization. The entire musculoskeletal system is supported in its natural dynamics and adapted to the individual needs, weaknesses and goals of each person. Precise movement analyses and targeted tests are used to identify muscular imbalances, movement deficits or unstable joint structures at an early stage. Preventive training is an investment in long-term health, vitality and quality of life. People with sedentary jobs, athletes, senior citizens or people with an increased risk of back, shoulder or knee problems benefit in particular.
Sports physiotherapy
Sports physiotherapy accompanies athletes every step of the way - from injury prevention to rehabilitation and performance optimization. It combines therapeutic knowledge with sport-specific requirements and is aimed at both individuals and entire teams.
- In the physiotherapy studio, sports physiotherapy offers a targeted environment for individual care. The focus here is on precise diagnostics, manual therapy, functional training and modern rehabilitation methods. Individual athletes receive customized treatment and training plans that are tailored to their sport, injury history and personal goals. Special attention is paid to restoring movement quality, strength, speed, endurance and coordination.
- Outside the studio - directly at the training or competition venue - sports physiotherapy is just as essential. Working closely with coaches, fitness and medical staff, the athletes are supported during intensive training phases, at tournaments or during pre-season preparation. Acute treatments, functional assessments, rehabilitation support and preventative measures are part of everyday life.
Whether professional team, junior team or individual performance athletes:
Sports physiotherapy ensures to perform quickly and safely at the highest level with a clear focus on sustainable health and maximum performance.
Performance adaptation
Performance adaptation describes the targeted adaptation of training stimuli to a person's individual capacity and current performance level. It is a central element in modern training and rehabilitation - because only those who dose stimuli sensibly can achieve progress without risking overload or injury. Performance adaptation includes the systematic planning of exercise and recovery, taking into account personal requirements such as age, previous illnesses, training status and goals, as well as the regular review and adaptation of the training plan based on objective criteria.
Whether in recovery after an injury, in competitive sport or in preventative health training: effective performance adaptation ensures that the body processes new stimuli optimally, structures such as muscles, tendons and joints become stronger and general performance increases continuously. Precise load control makes it possible to break through plateaus, avoid setbacks and achieve lasting success.
Return-to-Sport (RTS)
The path back to sport after an injury requires more than just physical healing - it requires a structured, well thought-out and individualized approach. "Return-to-Sport" describes precisely this process: the targeted restoration of athletic performance, taking into account physical resilience, functional movement quality and mental strength. The aim is to return athletes to their discipline not only symptom-free, but fully capable and resilient. The return-to-sport process begins in the early rehabilitation phase with targeted exercises for mobility, strength, stability and coordination.
Sport-specific movement patterns are gradually integrated, the intensity is increased and the loads are adapted so that the transition to regular training and competition runs smoothly. A successful return to sport is based on clear criteria: medical clearance, functional tests, movement analyses and resilience tests are decisive factors.
Whether an amateur or professional athlete, a well-founded return-to-sport approach gives confidence in the own body, optimizes the performance and ensures long-term sporting success.
Ergonomic work
An ergonomically designed workplace is crucial for long-term health, performance and well-being. Ergonomics means designing work environments and processes in such a way that they are optimally adapted to people's physical and mental needs. Particularly in the case of predominantly sedentary work or one-sided movement sequences, incorrect posture, muscular imbalances and overload complaints can quickly occur. Typical consequences are back, neck and shoulder problems or headaches.
An ergonomic workplace design prevents these risks by supporting natural movement patterns and minimizing physical strain. Important elements include: individually adjustable desk and chair heights, the correct positioning of monitors and keyboards, regular changes of posture, dynamic sitting and integrated movement and relaxation breaks. In addition, ergonomic advice raises awareness for active body awareness in everyday working life, so that incorrect strain can be identified at an early stage and corrected independently.
